Four short questions. We use your answers to point you at the guidance and directories that
match your situation — nothing is stored, nothing is sent anywhere, and you don't need an
account or an email address.
This is not a diagnostic test. It cannot tell you whether you or anyone else
has a condition, and it is not a clinical assessment. It is a navigation tool that sorts

You said this is urgent. These lines are free, confidential and staffed 24 hours a day.
They can help right now, and they can help you work out what to do next.
If someone is in immediate physical danger, call 911 or go to the
nearest emergency department. Outside the U.S., find a local line at
findahelpline.com.
We've deliberately not shown you directory results or sponsored listings on this

Care for under-18s is a separate speciality.
Programmes must be licensed to treat adolescents, and adult services are not
interchangeable. Ask any provider directly whether they are licensed for your child's
age group, and whether a parent or guardian is involved in the treatment plan. Your
child's paediatrician or school counsellor is often the fastest route to a referral,
and costs nothing.

Free, non-commercial help
These cost nothing and sell nothing. Worth trying before any paid option.
These are informational starting points, not referrals or clinical recommendations.
Mental Advocate does not place anyone into treatment and is not paid to direct any
individual to any specific provider. Listings are not endorsements and are not
verification of a licence — confirm credentials with the relevant state licensing
board before beginning care.
